Nalley Thick Chili

I bought this because it said "thick" and I thought that was unique. It's not really thick. Consistency was kind of soupy. There's a large clump of beef in mine, but then after stirring I wouldn't call this thick.

First impression was I smelled "Hormel" which is usually a bad thing. This chili wasn't as bad as Hormel. In fact I actually like it.

It's what you'd except from a corporation. Average, somewhat bland, not the least bit spicy, and nothing unique about it. If you just want something that tastes okay, goes well on a hot dog, chips, or just by itself, this is good enough that I went and bought some more. I dressed it up with spicy brown mustard on my dog also, but definitely add some onions.

Ingredients: Water, prepared pinto beans (pinto beans, water) beef, less than 2% of: degermed yellow corn meal enriched wheat flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour niacin, iron (reduced), thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), textured vegetable protein (soy flour, caramel color), spices, tomato paste, salt, hydrolyzed soy protein, dextrose sugar, modified corn starch, hydrolyzed corn protein, onion powder, garlic powder, citric acid, natural flavors.
