There's an "About" page on the right, but I thought I'd make a post that describes what this blog is all about in case you didn't read it.
I'm a big fan of hot dogs and meat based toppings. I grew up in an area of New Jersey that had a bunch of Texas Weiner locations. A Texas Weiner is a greek based chili sauce (if you're in Northern New Jersey it's more like normal chili).. you usually get the dogs topped with mustard, onions, and meat sauce. Something similar to a Coney or a Cincinnati Style chili or maybe even Rochester Garbage Plate sauce, some of which has notes of cinnamon and other spices in them.
Originally I started keeping a list of places online you could buy meat sauces and get them shipped to you, but then I started to add other (mostly unique) hot dog toppings.
I purchase all the items myself. Some companies have offered free items (which I appreciate the offer), but I never take them. I provide my honest review on what I think of the product, good or bad. If there is just a picture of the item, that means I have not reviewed it yet. I've been starting to write that in the post. If I can get the ingredient list I also include it.
On the bottom right hand side of the page is a "Product Purchase Links" section. These are links to where I've found you can purchase products I put on the blog. It's a chore to always keep up with the links to make sure they are still working, but I do it from time to time. So, if the link doesn't work then Google is your friend.
I was originally removing blog posts of items no longer sold, but I lost a few posts that way, so I decided to keep them up now and just remove the purchase links.
What started off as 64 blog posts has grown into over 200 at the moment!
